 This wedding was so incredibly special to me. You see, Lora and I went to high school together. Once we graduated everyone moved away and started their lives.

A few years later, I received an email from Lora asking about an engagement session. It was so dang awesome to be able to reconnect with a long lost friend, a high school buddy, a fellow drummer, and just an awesome individual. After their super awesome engagement session we talked about their wedding and oh my gosh I could hardly contain myself. A South Lake Tahoe Wedding is seriously a dream! I was beyond excited as you could imagine.

The wedding was on a gorgeous summer day. The skies were as blue as can be and the weather was just absolutely perfect. They decided to get married in Zephyr Cove, on the beach, and looking out over South Lake Tahoe.

The reception was on the M.S Dixie II and it couldn’t have been more awesome! We were able to get on the boat first for our very own tour and bride and groom portraits. It was so freaking awesome. Once everyone got on the boat we began our tour around Lake Tahoe.

The first floor of the M.S. Dixie II was the dinning hall where we enjoyed delicious steak and chicken dinners and some of the best cheesecake around.

The second floor was all about drinks and dancing. There was a live band and all the dancing you could handle.

The third floor was open to the outside and more like a balcony. You could sit up top and enjoy the view and the sunset. Talk about the absolute perfect ever! We had another short session for bride and groom portraits up on the top floor once the sunlight got just right.

After that, it was all about enjoying the view and dancing the night away. Thank you both for allowing me to be your photographer during this super special day. Thank you for taking me along on your adventure and letting me document these special moments and your amazing love for each other. You both are so incredibly special and I am so dang happy that you found each other!
