Outdoor Newborn Portraits | Delaney

When scheduling a newborn session you have to be a little bit flexible when it comes to the time and date. We all know that babies come when they are ready, not when you are ready, and especially not on your 'due date'.

Now, with outdoor sessions you definitely need to be flexible as you want to make sure that the weather is just right in order to work best for the new little one. We definitely don't want them getting cold during their session. With little Delaney, we had to reschedule a couple of times as the weather didn't want to cooperate; however, I am so thankful that we did!

The original plan was to have her newborn portraits taken in Knights Ferry, but ultimately the location changed to Indegeny Reserve and I do have to say that this was an awesome decision.

The portraits came out so amazing!

The session started off with pictures of Delaney's brothers and then all the boys while Delaney was getting comfortable with her new surroundings. Then we were able to get these beautiful pictures when she relaxed and fell asleep.

We ended the session with Mom, Dad, and Delaney after a session filled with a warm autumn breeze, laughter, smiles, and so much goodness.

To Jesse and Haley, thank you so so much for allowing me to be your photographer during this incredibly special time in your families lives!

If you or someone you know is expeciting, I encourage you to truly take a moment and consider scheduling a newborn portrait session. The moment that your new little one is a newborn is a fleeting moment and will be gone in a blink of an eye. These images that come from your session will be around for you to cherish forever.

Wishing you all nothing but beautiful days filled with laughter.
