This session may have just taken the winning spot! Holy awesomeness is all I have to say. Typically with my blogs I try to have about 10ish photos; however, I just couldn't choose! So this one has.... well.... ALOT more than normal. LOL. I guess I could say I'm sorry, but I'm not:)

When I was contacted to take Mya's senior portraits up at Pinecrest I was absolutely thrilled. Pinecrest is such an amazing place to take portraits and I just couldn't wait!

I met Mya and her Mama up at the Forest Service parking lot. The plan was to head over to the lake, get some photos in the woods and then get the remainder of the photos at the lake.

Well, as we were driving along there was this absolutely amzing meadow with the most beautiful golden light that you ever did see. I stopped and asked the girls what they thought and they were completely up for a change in plans! All I have to say is YAY!!! I freaking love when my people trust me and are down for anything!

After the meadow we headed into the woods for a bit more of a glam session. I love a natural setting with a fancy dress. Let me tell you, the it is awesome and the contrast just really is so spectacular. I always tell my, clients when they are thinking about outfits, to bring at least one fancy item, unless that is just completely not you, but if it is, it is always an awesome outfit to incorporate into the session. We typically don't stay in this outfit for more than about 10 minutes. This is just enough time to get some pretty awesome shots all dressed up.

While Mya was changing into another outfit I found another meadow with some beautiful wildflowers! Of course we had to dance and twirl :)

Let me tell you, this girl was up for anything and she is the absolute sweetest. When she smiles she lights up the room. She smiles and a glow just comes about her that changes everything.

After adventuring into various meadows we finally found our way to the lake! Ahh, Pinecrest you are so beautiful (insert all the heart eyed emojis here).

Mya brought along her guitar and she strung a few chords as I walked around taking some shots. I mean how cool is she?! For realz though?!

Thank you so much Mya for trusting me with all my crazy ideas and for being so dang easy going. Thank you so much for allowing me to be your photographer during this super special time in your life. You are so gorgeous and such an amazing person! I am so glad that I get to say I know you.

I hope you all enjoyed this post. If you did don't forget to subscribe to my blog in order to get updates when I post something new. If you are looking at getting your portraits taken please feel free to contact me. I would absolutely love to talk to you... and if you are on the fence about getting your portraits taken you shouldn't be. These moments are fleeting moments. Make sure to document these moments.
